Federal funding will lead to job creation

Two local manufacturing companies will split over two million dollars in loans from Ottawa to create almost 100
new jobs.
Grand River Foods Ltd. in Cambridge gets over 1.1 million to get new equipment for a more efficient processing operation, and add 20 new permanent full-time jobs.
Bend All Automotive in Ayr gets just under $1.1 million to augment production of their engine cooling systems, and create up to 75 new jobs.
Bend All CEO, Alfred Napolitano, tells 570 News 20 new jobs will start when new equipment and contracts start this spring, and other jobs are coming with anticipated further contracts.
He says they’ve been manufacturing their systems from imported parts, but now more production will happen here.
President of Grand River Foods, Craig Richardson, says their new jobs and equipment have to be up and running by June 1st, as part of the repayable funding.
The funding was announced this morning by Cambridge MP Gary Goodyear, in his role as Minister of State for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
